Be suspicious of unsolicited job opportunities or offers that you may receive over the phone or by email.
We have recently been made aware of false job offers being made by individuals posing as employees of Celestica. Recipients of these job offers are often asked to provide personal information or to deposit a cheque and send all or part of the funds to the fake company (for example, to supposedly cover their training costs)
These job offers are not from Celestica and any purported association with Celestica is false.
Information for potential candidates:
- Prior to being offered a position at Celestica all candidates must go through our full recruitment process which includes interviews with members of our team.
- Celestica will never ask candidates for banking or other personal information beyond what is required for the recruitment process.
- Celestica will never send a cheque with a job offer, nor will it ask you to incur any job-related expenses prior to commencing work.
- The easiest way to spot a scam is by looking at the sender’s email address. Celestica’s email addresses always ends in celestica.com.
