At Celestica, Every Day is Earth Day

Today we join the international community in support of the 54th anniversary of Earth Day.

When it comes to enabling a green and sustainable future, we know that one day a year is not enough. That’s why, at Celestica, every day is Earth Day.

This is evident in the way we operate, and the way we partner with leading Smart Energy customers to design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to power a more sustainable future.

Sustainability is more than a goal, it’s a commitment that resonates across our global operations. We set science-based targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and strive to improve energy productivity throughout our operations. We have outperformed our commitment to decrease our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions a full 81% from the 2018 baseline—surpassing our 30% reduction goal by 2025.  And we continue to expand the use of renewable energy sources in our operations –  currently using the equivalent of 75% renewable energy through a mix of on-site solar panels, procurement through utilities and the purchase of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs). 

Beyond our own organization, as the global demand for renewable technologies grows, Celestica’s Smart Energy team continues to help our customers deliver innovative, reliable high-quality,  smart energy solutions to power a changing world. With over 25 years of expertise in high-reliability design, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain solutions, we enable a wide range of energy and smart city applications through gas and electric smart meters, high-efficiency generation controls, power converters, energy storage, EV charging stations, solar trackers, inverters and more.
