Celestica’s supply chain management procedures are compliant with industry standards to ensure that working conditions are safe; workers are treated with respect and dignity; and manufacturing processes are environmentally responsible.

At Celestica we extend our code of conduct to our vendors and suppliers. Our global supply chain is secured for our customers through:

Supplier assessments
Verification visits with suppliers
High standard assembly material standards and testing
Chemical regulations of components, including Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE)
Ethical sourcing, including conflict minerals
Adherence to The Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct

Sustainability in our Hardware Platform Solutions

Celestica’s Hardware Platform Solutions (HPS) segment has invested in leading-edge product roadmaps and design capabilities aligned with market standards and emerging technologies. Our focus is to ensure environmental compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from sourcing of materials to use and product disposal. We are designing and manufacturing more energy-efficient products. Furthermore, processes and products are designed with circularity in mind, by reducing the unique components needed in product designs and ensuring recovered materials are used in manufacturing and that the materials have a high level of recoverability, through either reuse, remanufacturing or recycling.

Lifecycle Solutions Through After-Market Services

Celestica’s After-Market Services business offers a range of customer solutions, including repair and end-of-life product management. Servicing multiple customers over nine sites, Celestica supports the circular economy by disassembling products and facilitating the reuse of mined and processed materials, which enables value to be recaptured and reduces materials from entering landfills.
